Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) enables organizations to be accountable for their
business and stakeholders at the same time, creating a positive impact on society and the
economy. TOMS company used the "One for One" philosophy to build a Corporate Social
Responsibility, allowing it to serve the community and grow its business. Through the "One for
One" philosophy, Mycoskie built a for-profit organization that focused on alleviating poverty in
the community. This strategy allowed it to be accountable for its business as well as the
community it served. Therefore, organizations that wish to adopt the "One for One" philosophy
should make appropriate decisions to combine commercial objectives and social goals to
