This is a test release item by the Smarter Balance Assessment Consortium intended for supposedly, all 7th grade students.  5/6-1/3n = p(5-2n) Again solve for P and give an integer answer. Also, do you feel this is grade level appropriate?

5/6 -1/3n = p(5-2n)

p = (5/6-1/3n)/(5-2n) = (5-2n)/6n divided by (5-2n) = 1/6

Answer: p=1/6
