DIVERSITY IN WORKPLACE
The notion of diversity covers acceptance and respect. It is used to imply that there is a clear
understanding of people’s uniqueness and identifying each individual’s differences. The
differences can along the scope of trace, ethnicity, gender, age, physical abilities, and religious
beliefs .The term means more than accepting and enduring the existence of the differences. It
includes a set of practices: having a clear understanding and realizing of the interdependence of
humanity, cultures and the natural setting, recognizing and understanding the existing diversity
and establishing coalitions across the existing differences so that individuals can work closely to
prevent all forms of discrimination (Ozgen, Nijkamp & Poot, 2015).
The primary type of diversity describes on how we categorize ourselves other individuals.
