Description
Third journal assignment:
You made it to the end of the chapter on families! Share three takeaways from this chapter that you did not know before, or learned more about. Then share three ideas that you learned that will support you in working with families within your classroom setting.
3 things I did not know and ignore, namely
- 1-the life of homosexuals, their nature, their causes and the problems they face
- 2-The role of peers and the extent of their influence on the human condition in pressuring them in making decisions
- 3-Chronological events that have affected your life so far? Was it a positive or negative influence, or a bit of both
3 points I learned
- Difficult life situations teach the strong human being and the challenge in facing life and moving forward towards it without making difficult situations an obstacle in our way.
- I learned about the types of sharing traditions, practices, and rituals common to each of my classmates. How do they change?
- You learned what the cultural norm is in your family unit in relation to who you live with and when, or even if you are expected to establish your own home and the role of the cultural norm in raising children and creating a family.
How will these ideas you learn in working with families support you in a classroom setting?
