Introduction
Data & Technology are the key areas of modern healthcare system. This paper will
address the details of Big Data and Data Mining and their values in the healthcare sector. This
paper will also investigate the concept knowledge about the continuity planning and an insight
over the preparedness program process in a healthcare business. Lastly, the discussions will lead
to the study of the usage of informatics science with respect to the nursing student’s education.
Big Data and Data Mining Value To Healthcare
Big Data & Healthcare
Big data usually denotes the size of data. But the difficulties linked to big data are not
only restricted to its size. The idea of big data i.e. structured, unstructured, or semi-structured
comprises a large amount of data gathered from numerous sources, formats, and sizes. And at the
same time, it is challenging to get value out of it. There are various aspects of big data such as
volume, variety, veracity, value, and velocity. To me, the most interesting aspect of big data is
related with its volume. The enormous amount of information and data gathered every moment
through social media, credit cards, mobile phones, images, etc. refers to the volume of big data.
For the volume of such enormous and heterogeneous data, there is no static edge (Hebda, et al,
2019).
In today’s modern world, the healthcare sector faces the challenge to cope up with the
constantly evolving major healthcare data. The domain of big data analysis is growing larger and
can provide valuable perceptions for the system of healthcare. In the healthcare sphere, the use of
big data technology has been proven to add value to the system. Usually, concerning the large
scale of data that has to be stored, examined, and achieved using conventional database and data
