It is caused by the accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere from natural and artificial activities. The accumulation of these gases is the causes a gradual increase in temperature and climate change. It is a gradual change in the weather patterns of a specific region on the earth. The issue was selected because of the attention that it has attracted from major stakeholders in the modern world. In addition, the decision to select the issue is based on its widespread impact on the wellbeing of people in society. Basically, climate change is a global issue that can affect people across any part of world. Environmental effects of climate change, including changes in precipitation, rising sea levels, and extreme waves can cause degraded air quality, intense hurricanes, droughts, and flooding. These effects can directly and indirectly affect the psychological, social, and physical health of people around the world (National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences). The release of toxic pollutants can exacerbate health effects in vulnerable populations, such as the elderly, children, and those with cardiovascular disease or asthma. Climate change can also cause disease migration around the world, leading to new health challenges. Therefore, climate change impact on health is an issue that needs to be clearly understood so as to develop strategies to mitigate and adapt to climate change. This will not only prevent diseases but also protect the environment and future generations. The propose research will compare and contrast the impact of climate change on health in developing or less industrialized world with the United States. This is because developing countries do not have as much greenhouse emissions as the United States. Climate change and its effects on the health.
Introduction.
With everything that is changing in a word, ranging from the way of life to technological
advances, we cannot miss a significant change that is happening around the globe. The change in
the climatic conditions, most of the changes are contributed to by the industrialization and the
mode of waste disposal in the modern society’s some of the major contributors to the changes
have been identified as mass deforestation, and poor waste disposal was leading to pollution.
These have resulted in the variations in the rainfall patterns and intensity, prolonged droughts
and avalanches resulting from increased temperatures in the poles of the globe.
The effects these practices and the climate change has on the health of the individual populations
of the world are the main concerns in this project. We will, therefore, consider the various
impacts of climate change on the health of the community. The discussion will be based on the
significant changes that have occurred and the health repercussion they bring about.
Discussion
With the increase industrialization, there is consequently an increase of disposal gases released
into the atmosphere, significant impact on the climate have been witnessed. The increase in the
global temperature and the occurrences of the heat wave are part of the repercussions of the
effect. The increase of temperature on the globe has resulted in the melting of the polar ice thus
leading to the increase in the ocean water level (National Institute of Environmental Health
Sciences). This, therefore, has contributed to flooding in various regions whi...
