You will submit a PowerPoint with voiceover presentation that identifies one type of addiction
and the impact that that addiction can have. Your presentation should be 8-10 slides total
(including your title, introduction, conclusion, and reference slides). To conduct research for
your presentation, you may utilize the course lectures, the Internet, and the BSC Virtual Library.
Consider using statistics/data throughout your presentation. Your presentation will be
uploaded into a discussion forum within Blackboard so that you and your classmates can learn
from one another’s presentations.
You may do your presentation on any of the following types of addiction, or an addiction of
your choosing that is not in the list below:
• Drugs (choose one: alcohol, opiates, stimulants, sedatives, cannabis)
• Gambling
• Sex
• Shopping
• Food
• Stealing
• Video gaming
• Exercising
