Explanation & Answer
HI!
Keep in mind that a rhetorical question basically asks the same thing twice, or inquires about something that is already a given. Example: What color is her white horse? That would be rhetorical or: This sunny day is pretty, isn't it?
Now for success here are some questions that may help:
- Are successful people born or made?
- To what extent having success means being successful?
- Does success equal superiority?
- How can you measure how successful a success actually is?
- When is a success actually "successful"?
- What is the different between true success and a good opportunity or chance?
- How can you measure success as greatness?
- Why do people value success?
- When is success NOT successful?
- How can success serve as a motivator?
- What is the most important benefit of success?
- What is the fist word that comes to mind when hearing that someone is "successful"?
- What are some steps to reach success in life, or at a specific task.
HOPE THESE WORK!

PCN 605 Grand Canyon University Psychotic Disorder Paper
1. Review the vignettes BELOW in the topic five materials and then diagnose Robin and Becky with a psychotic disorder. What are the justifications for your diagnosis? Include differential diagnoses that were considered and discarded.
Robin
Robin is a 29-year-old Caucasian female who was referred to counseling from an emergency room doctor. Per the doctor, Robin was extremely distraught when she came into the ER as evidenced by her bizarre behavior and frantic attempts to receive medical help. She informed the ER doctor that she needed to undergo surgery to remove an implant that was in her abdomen. Robin further stated that her television had spoken to her and told her that the implant had been put into her body by aliens during abduction. The doctor assessed Robin for drugs and alcohol and found no evidence of intoxication or withdrawal. Robin commented to the doctor that "nothing like this has ever happened before" and that she felt "fine until 2 weeks ago," when she started receiving messages from the television.
Becky
Becky is a 43-year-old Caucasian female who attends counseling regularly. Recently, the focus of counseling has been focused on Becky's relationship with her boss; she has informed her counselor that her boss is madly in love with her even though he is married with several children. Becky is trying to determine what course of action to take in convincing her boss to leave his family so that they can start one of their own. Becky tells her counselor that her boss has never discussed these matters with her outright, but she knows how he feels by the way he looks at her. Additionally, Becky states that she is able to infer his love messages out of work emails that he sends to her regularly. She has been working at her current job for approximately 2 years and believes that her boss has been in love with her for about 6 months.
2. Review the vignette of Brett and then provide a DSM diagnosis. Based on your cultural background/worldview, what is your perspective on the nature of psychotic disorders?
Briefly review the biblical narrative in Mark 5: 1-20. How would you help a psychotic individual who presents to your treatment center and insists that the etiology of his disorder is spiritual in nature and not biochemical?
Review Mercer’s article and identify two or three recommendations/practices you find relevant in this source as pertaining to a clinician that considers treating Brett.

Brett
Brett is a 19-year-old Caucasian male who is brought to counseling by his parents, Margaret and Henry. Margaret and Henry are extremely concerned about their son and are looking for answers regarding his unusual behaviors. Brett is a college sophomore attending a local university; to save money, he lives at his parent's house and commutes to school. During his freshman year, Brett appeared to be doing well, but over the summer he began to act very strangely. His parents report that Brett started to spend a lot of time in his rooms with the shades drawn. He refused to bathe for days at a time and stopped eating regularly. Additionally, Margo and Henry heard Brett having conversations in his room when they knew that no one else was with him. One morning, Margo observed Brett sitting at the breakfast with a "blank" expression on his face while trying to pour milk into his shoes. In all, Henry believed that these odd behaviors have been occurring for about 9 months. Margo and Henry are devout Pentecostal believers and report that they have raised Brett to attend church and to believe in God. They are worried because before the onset of Brett’s symptoms, he reported a disturbing incident. He took a World Religions class in which a student performed a “show-and-tell” Ouija board ritual for a class project in which he described Occult religions. Brett was very upset by the event. They sought help from the pastors in their church with little relief. They were referred to you by a friend. They state that mental illness does not run in their family.

Rutgers University Technology for Granted & Visual Arguments Discussion Question
Part 1Living in the 21st century, it can be easy to take technology for granted. Even the very blended nature of this course presupposes that students and professors alike will all have regular access to fast, reliable internet; however, the reality is that a quarter of Americans simply do not have broadband internet. While we might initially think that this simply translates to limited Instagram access or slow YouTube videos, our current society runs on and depends upon high-speed internet, and those without it are left to suffer the consequences. For this discussion, read Karl Vick's "The Digital Divide," published in Time, in order to understand the impact of the "digital divide" on our nation as well as some programs intended to close the gap; then, answer the following questions: 250 minimum word countWhile many people across America cannot afford internet access at all, there is a far larger number who can only afford subpar services such as dial-up and satellite. What are the consequences on households that do not have internet access or have extremely slow internet capabilities? Provide specific examples from the article and your own knowledge to reinforce your claims.According to the article (and perhaps even your own experiences), what are the limitations of using smartphones and connecting to public Wi-Fi in order for individuals to access high-speed internet? Again, provide concrete details and examples in your response. What groups and people, as discussed in the text, might stand to gain by perpetuating this digital disparity across the country? (Consider rereading the section beginning with "Politically, the persistence of the digital gap defies logic.") What are some of the specific ways that these businesses and individuals have prevented nationwide internet access? Finally, the author closes by remarking that many of the suggestions meant to rectify the "digital divide" demand "a unity of purpose not yet seen from a President who ran as a populist and arrived in Washington surrounded by captains of industry." Who is Vick referring to in this closing statement? Does he believe that this person is capable of implementing the changes necessary to close the digital gap? Why or why not? In your opinion, does Vick's more argumentative stance at the end of this article help to strengthen his writing, or does it introduce bias? Explain why you believe this.Part 2We encounter visual arguments every day of our lives. One of the most common (and arguably most strident) of these is the advertisement. Within a static image, a magazine or billboard ad must instantly and memorably present its claims so that the viewer is left craving the product; however, in her documentary series Killing Us Softly, public speaker and activist Jean Kilbourne asserts that these ads do much more than just product placement: they tell us who we should be and what we should look like—especially if we are women. In order to understand some of the nuances of her argument as well as how to analyze visuals more effectively, watch the trailer for the documentary Killing Us Softly 4, and then respond to the questions below. 250 minimum word countKilbourne begins her argument with the claim that ads market female beauty; however, she also adds that when women attempt to achieve the images of beauty in advertisements, "failure is inevitable." Why specifically does she argue that women cannot reach these unrealistic beauty standards? Provide an example from the trailer of a specific way that ads make their brand of beauty unattainable. The presenter continues by arguing that women are often objectified within advertisements, literally turned into objects like beer bottles, cars, and video games (or even "dismembered" into sexualized body parts). What does Kilbourne argue are the very real consequences of depicting women in this manner? Do you agree with her? Why or why not?Kilbourne mentions that some actresses and models (specifically Kate Winslet) have spoken out against these unfair practices. What concrete changes would you like to see in the world of advertising in order to counteract some of the problematic messages sent to women? Be specific.Lastly, remember that at the beginning of the trailer, Kilbourne states, "[Advertisements] sell values. They sell concepts of ... success, and perhaps most important, of normalcy." What other ways do you see advertisements hawking a limited vision of success and normalcy (that don't necessarily have to apply only to women)? Find an advertisement that you feel "sells" an unfair vision of who people should be, and explain exactly how you feel that the ad does this. (Feel free to provide a link for the advertisement you have chosen or attach it as a jpeg.)
