Running Head: Mission, Vision, and Values Statements Business strategy Michael Portillo BUS/475 November 16, 2016 By: Shawna Burke 1 BUSINESS STRATEGY 2 Mission, Vision, and Values Statements The public documentation of an organization is among the most significant branding and market expansion tools for the organization. That means that the documentation items which include the mission, vision, and values statement should get established in a manner that presents the firm in the most impressive fashion possible (Walker, 2015). In this discourse let’s look into the public documentation of the Coca-Cola Company. The mission of this vast multinational firm stipulates that the company seeks to refresh the world, inspire happiness and optimism moments in customers and make a difference through the creation of value. Its vision statement states elements that include being a great place for workers to be their best, satisfying the desires of people through quality beverage brands and become a fastmoving, lean and efficient organization. The vision statement also includes aspects such as winning a broad distribution of suppliers and customers by creating a respective value of endurance, making maximum profits without neglecting the key responsibility and helping to build and support sustainable communities. The company seeks to maintain values such as leadership, integrity, passion, accountability, diversity, collaboration and quality in all its undertakings. The above mission, vision, and values mentioned above are critical to the Coca Cola Company because they serve to cut a path of success for the firm. The mission helps the employees and entire management to understand their position and contribution to the achievements of the company’s goals and objectives (Gurley et al., 2015). The vision ensures that the whole team gets the focus of where the organization needs to be. That gives them the morale and impetus to dedicate themselves to their work. The company’s value statement is an important aspect of the organization as it helps in establishing an impressive image of the BUSINESS STRATEGY 3 enterprise. It also helps the employees and other stakeholders to grow and develop themselves during their stay in the organization. The three items unanimously help the company to propel itself towards higher levels in the business environment to stand all distortion forces and emerge victoriously. The above statements do not mention anything about information security and I believe they should get included to safeguard the fixed point of the organization that could get used by competitors to strike it out of the market. Such inclusion should, however, come out in a subtle but vivid manner to avoid any misinterpretation by the public and competitors (Kopaneva & Sias, 2015). New division. Considering that the business is concerned with ensuring that the customer satisfaction is achieved at all time, innovation is a paramount requirement in the administrative processes to ensure that the company products continue to address the various demands of the changing society and the population trends. Regarding consumption, and the evolution of consumption habits where the people are being inclined toward natural produces. The suggestion is therefore to an establishment of a new branch that would entirely deal with the natural produce beverages. The current trends in consumption of most products in the modern generation are tending towards the natural products. This means that once the company introduces products based on the natural/organic products, it would attract a large market base of those who prefer the organic products. BUSINESS STRATEGY 4 Business model. The most appropriate business model for this branch would be manufacturing and direct marketing (Osterwalder & Pigneur, 2010). The products based on organic materials would have to be manufactured since it is a new product to be introduced in the market. The business would also be involved in direct marketing of the product so that it can prove its authenticity as a product of the Coca-Cola company. By basing the result on the brand of the major company the parent company the branch would be assured of maximum sale and a large market base as is for the aren’t company. Defining the business models, manufacturing model refers to a company that relies entirely on the production of a given product to offer in the market. The company is solely charged with the whole process of the production of the product for another company to sell. This means that the manufacturing company barely observes the market but rather it continues to produce the product until the seller/ distributor argues otherwise on the product. Direct marketing of the product would be based on commercialization of the parent company due to its extensive and vast market support. The parent company would benefit the branch in the distribution means and the marketing ability thereby increasing revenue for the department / division. The product would address the mission of the parent company by providing a beverage that would meet the consumer's need and thereby fall in line with the core mission of the parent company. By providing the organic based drink, the company would be refreshing and be making the consumers happy by offering a product they require and are inclined towards in the general trend in consumption. By providing the market with an BUSINESS STRATEGY 5 organic based beverage, the company/division would acquire competitive advantage since most of the drinks that exist in the market are not naturally based. This would make the branch have a significant advantage on the basis of market share and therefore enjoy the market dominance before other beverage companies engage in the same product manufacturing. Another important advantage that the branch has that would contribute to the competitive edge is the parent company. By using the Coca-Cola brand, the office product is assured of benefiting from a large market base and to have the competitive advantage on its side. The vision for the new branch. The vision of the company is to be a leading company in providing natural beverages that would contribute to a healthy population in the society and be a leader in promoting agriculture. Mission for the new branch The mission of the company is to help employment in the community by contributing positively to the agriculture sector of the country and being a n=major contributor to the growth and health development in the globe. The superior vision and mission statement align with the parent companies vision and mission statement by for instance the promotion of agricultural sector and employment aligning with the major company’s mission of being an excellent company that offers and satisfies the employees and the general population. Also, the vision of being a leader in the natural based beverages falls in line with the vision of the aren’t company to provide drinks to the people that are refreshing only that in this case, the beverages would be natural and from the agricultural products produced in the country. BUSINESS STRATEGY 6 The vision and mission strategies act as a guidance to the company in the development and the model it would have to consider the approach to the market. By manufacturing the natural product, it would have accomplished the vision and mission of providing the market with the agricultural products thereby creating employment and promoting the agriculture sector which is the primary provider of the raw materials for the production of the beverage it is introduced. By aiming at being the most preferred line of the natural beverage company, the branch would aim at accomplishing its mission on being a leading producer of the beverage thereby following strategies that would promote this sector and line of operation. Principe’s guiding the new division. The new group would be based on the promotion of all the aspects of the society by considering the sectors of culture, social and ethical considerations. On the industry of social attention, the company would ensure that he products produced to promote the health of the people thereby contributing positively to the society by creating a healthy population. Also on the same aspect, the conservation of the environment by ensuring sustainable and efficient crop production. On the ethical perspective, the promotion of employment and production of a beverage that encourages a healthy population considers this aspect. BUSINESS STRATEGY 7 References Gurley, D.
