m/n = p - 6

1. Multiply n on both sides

m/n *n/1 = n (p - 6)

m = n (p - 6)

2.  Divde by (p-6)

m/(p-6) = n (p-6)/(p-6)

m/(p-6) = n

(x - 2)/y = z

1.  Multiple y on both sides

y * (x - 2)/y = z * y

(x-2) = zy

2.  Divide by z

(x-2)/z = zy/z

(x-2)/z = y
