The flat earth approach of communication focuses on the simple ways that individuals
utilize when solving issues. The primary objective of the approach is to identify how information
gets conveyed among individuals in an organization. Diverse factors determine the
communication process from the flat earth perspective. In any case, the approach results in a
culture that determines how information should be exchanged (Chicago Booth Review, 2017). In
this case, organizations only consider the common ways of performing activities without the
need for change. As a result, the results attained are the same in all contexts.
