Six Sigma

Six Sigma and what it means mathematically
Six Sigma is a set of quality control methodology developed by Motorola in 1986
(Antony, 2020). Six Sigma used data-driven criteria to reduce mistakes in business and corporate
processes. In mathematics, Six Sigma means that it would take a six-standard deviation event
emanating from the mean for an error to occur.
Techniques and tools, and methods that I could traditionally use in a Six Sigma facilitation

There are numerous method techniques and methods I would use traditionally in
facilitating Six sigma. Some of the methods I would use include mistake-proofing, root cause
analysis, the 5S system, and value stream mapping. These techniques provide a coherent way of
reducing errors in the business process. Businesses are vital, hence developing criteria that can
reduce chances of the risk occurring for maximum profitability.
