Abstract

Cloud computing is an on-demand service where cloud resources like storage, network,
management are available from anywhere as per the need of an organization or individual. This
service uses the internet to deliver functionality. Cloud computing has emerged as the most
popular in different sectors, such as logistics, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, etc. Now, most
healthcare organizations are digitalized, and they are moving towards cloud computing to
provide high-quality care, cut down operational expenses, be competitive between the service
providers, and use healthcare analytics to gain new clinical insights into their patients' diseases.
Amazon Web Service (AWS) is a leading cloud computing service provider that provides
different services like IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS. AWS minimizes an organization's time and effort to
run the services and provides access to analytics capabilities. This paper discusses the challenges
of healthcare digitalization (data security, resource management, accessibility) and how cloud
computing and AWS helps healthcare organizations overcome those challenges. The paper also
focuses on how cloud computing (using AWS) transforms healthcare services in the future by
connecting doctors and patients using telehealth, provides patient medical information on any
platform anytime, and healthcare analytics using cloud computing.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) continues to provide competency programs for the
customers, which helps locate healthcare facilities that have proven to be both technical
proficiency and customer success (Cook, 2018). Therefore, AWS partners have proven to be
successful in the development of solutions that play a significant role within healthcare
providers. Such solutions help in storing, processing, transmitting and analyzing any information
within the healthcare facilities. AWS provides healthcare facilities with a great advantage that
extends infrastructure. That allows the healthcare facilities to focus on what is more important to
them, including a steady improvement in the quality of services provided to their clients and the
general community.
AWS helps in visualizing the clinical healthcare innovation as part of focussing on the
future of the personalized experiences within cloud computing solutions. Therefore, AWS helps
healthcare facilities realize their full potential towards solving some of the most significant
healthcare challenges. AWS allows healthcare facilities to index the patient data much easier due
to the development of powerful applications using accurate information provided by the
respective patients.
