For instance, North American countries were colonized by England, France, and Spain.
Colonialism can be thought of as one of the tools that can be used to build an empire. N their

Imperialism is the political or economic dominance of one community over. It is a policy of
extending a country's power and influence by colonization. Weak communities, mostly the
political communities are forced to serve the interest of the powerful and dominant powers.
Imperialism can be thought of as building an empire with a bloody affair. The scramble and
petition for Africa by the European countries can be described as imperialism. You can think of
it as empire building, which was often a bloody affair. This was achieved via military takeover
and colonization. Through imperialism, small countries with limited resources can grow to great
powers globally. For instance, England, being a small European nation, forced an extensive
worldwide empire through imperialism.
