Height in t sec =0.5 g t^{2}

0.5[ gt^{2}- g (t-1)^{2}]= 2*0.5[ g(t-1)^{2}- g (t-2)^{2}]

t^{2}- (t-1)^{2}= 2 [ (t-1)^{2}- (t-2)^{2}]

t^{2}- (t^{2}-2t+1) = 2{(t^{2}-2t+1)- (t^{2}-4t+4)}

2t-1=2(2t-3)

2t-4t = -6+1 = -5

-2t = -5

t = 5/2 =2.5

Height = 0.5 *9.8 * (25/4) = 4.9 *25/4 = 30.625 m
