1. What is Sarahah app? What is the principal idea behind it?
The Sarahah App is a Saudi Arabian Social Networking Facility that offers a helpful
critique. Sarahah means honesty in Arabic. It allows people to communicate with others
through text messages. After that, the recipient can respond anonymously.
2. Can the message sender be revealed? What do you think about this?
Sarahah will reveal the message sender's identity only if you don't follow the
application's terms and conditions. The Sarahah App silently uploads the users' catalog
to its web-based server hence enabling third-party users to disclose the Usernames of
unidentified senders.
3. Is Sarahah encouraging bullying? And How?
Due to the App allowing people to leave unknown messages or responses for each other,
people have been misusing it because the sender cannot be revealed.
4. From your point of view, what kind of ethical issue is this App creating?
We have noticed harassment and bullying due to the Sarahah App allowing teenagers
to use it.
5. What is the story behind removing Sarahah App from Apple and Google stores in
2018? Do you support that?

App to be removed after friends of her 13-year-old daughter sent her offensive
messages such as ‘Kill Yourself.' Katrina Collins called on the App to be banned from
the Apple App Store and Google Play store Accusing Sarahah of encouraging bullying.
The decision to remove the App should not be based merely on a few cases, but
measures should be put to filter such messages in the App.
