Since, impulse=change in momentum



Change in momentum =m*(Vf-Vi) = 2.5*7.5=18.75 kg m/s

Hence impulse on ball = impulse on racket = 18.75 kg m/s

Velocity = momentum/mass = 18.75/1.45 = 12.93 m/s Ans
