“Lorry Raja” by Madhuri Vijay
Lorry Raja is a thrilling story by Madhuri Vijay and describes the life of the author’s older
brother, Siju, and his path as he grew from a young and underpaid lorry driver to a smart but
dishonest driver of the mine tracks. Siju developed to a big shot as the author calls him, and much
of his social life changed as he no longer played with Munna as before. Siju also cut talks with his
girlfriend and was more reckless with Appa. Siju enters into a conflict with Appa as the former
attacks the latter on the basis of their uselessness. Appa’s response is not gentle and wrestles the
young Siju to the ground. Consequently, Siju reports to the labour officer who dismisses the issue

of a normal driver’s pay due to his young age. His operations were as well limited as he operated
using a fake lorry permit and could therefore not visit port cities. A pattern of images can be seen

response from the officer. Also, a series of imagery can be observed as Siju grows to a competent
but young driver, transports ore with restricted areas, grows to engage in dishonest business as he
sucks fuel from company tracks and sells it through underhand ways to other drivers.

this case, can be auditory imagery as one of the female co-workers of Siju laughs after saying that
“Lorry Raja is always combining his hair in the rearview mirror.” The reader can imagine the
actual scene as the female co-wo...
