In the year of 1920, Henry Ford invented the assembly line. The assembly line is designed to maximize efficiency of production. Due to the creation of the assembly line, Ford could sell the cars he produced to the public for very cheap. In fact, nearly all of Ford's workers owned one of the companies cars. Mainly because, Henry Ford promoted higher paying wages for his workers. In theory, his workers would use their wages to buy a car from him.
Calvin Coolidge was the 30th president of the United States of America. President Coolidge was accredited for the roaring twenties; an age of prosperity in the early 1920's of the American history. Before Coolidge was placed into office, the approval of the White house was in serious jeopardy. Due to scandels like the "tea pot dome scandel". Many suggest that President Coolidge restored the faith of the American people in the White house.
