what is the difference between climate and precipitation?

Climate is defined as the weather conditions prevailing in an area  over a long period. In contrast, the weather is the daily prediction or occurrence.

Precipitation is the daily amount of rainfall that a specific area receives( this can be in the form of hail, sleet,snow, or rain).
