The federal bureau of investigations (FBI) is one of the most organized law agencies in
criminal justice system. The FBI unit is able to solve criminal cases faster than any other law
agency like the police forces. This is because it has one of the largest facial recognition database
used to identify criminals, innocent citizens, and terror individuals among others. As a result of
the facial recognition database, the FBI is one strong and efficient law agency in matters
concerning investigations of criminal cases. However like any other agency in law it also has
controversial approaches that are of concern. This paper looks at the FBI and issues of concern in
the field.
The main aim of the FBI is solving criminal cases and ensuring that guilty persons are
caught and punished. The unit is willing to go to great lengths as a means to find criminals from
whatever place they are hiding in. This means that they are also willing to risk the privacy of
innocent citizens in order to have access to every individual in a bid to catch the guilty
individuals (López, 2010). Currently, most citizens have not been happy with increased
