The way that people learn and the way that they are going to consume information continues to
change over the years. Technology is accelerating at a rate of 100 years in advancement per
calendar year which means that companies need to have the ability to always stay ahead of the
game and outpace change to always educate their employees. Keeping up with the pace is rather
difficult and that means that something like technology can provide a continual source of
improvement for employees and also for learning.
Our company is called Sapienzia and we are based in Los Angeles California. We provide a suite
of solutions that allow employees to learn, internalize and know everything that they need to for
their jobs. All of the solutions that we have are cloud based and have a per user model which
means that it is easy and affordable for anyone to buy and access the software and products as
long as they have a browser or they download our apps which are available for every OS.
Sapenzia has been in business since 1999 and since that time we have focused on changing our
models of learning so that there is a continual focus and push for new solutions that continue to
inspire and empower our customers. The name of the company comes from the Latin and Italian
which is the word for knowledge. Realizing that we live in a time of disruptive change, we first
created products that were focused simply on adaptive learning and also on providing a way that
people could consume training in multimedia formats.
Our first primary product which was called SapientU was a solution that was focused on creating
and using simulations, as well as videos to be able to create content and then be able to embed
that content anywhere and play it back as necessary. That meant that it was possible to have

access to the best options for learners based on any way that they may learn. Since some learners
are visual, some are audio and others are only able to learn by doing, it is important to make sure
that there is a mix of these options when trying to present a tool or a solution that is going to
empower them. When looking at everything that is out there, there was nothing on the market
that was able to offer these options. The packages of content that were created were also
standalone so they were able to be embedded and also shared with others to ensure that there was
going to always be a new solution.
Our new model of SapientU is completely based in the cloud which means that it can be
accessed by any browser or by any person on any device with an app. The apps ensure that the
learning and the training is constantly available to any person who may need it when they need
it. In addition to this the content is also available in over 55 languages which ensures that there
will never be a time when it is not available for learners.
Recognizing the need for tracking, the company also developed a software which is installed on
all employees’ computers which is called TrackingU. The product was designed to see the way
