factor out a factor with a negative coefficient. then factor out a factor with a positive coefficient.

First use a common factor with a POSITIVE COEFFICIENT, and then use a common factor with a NEGATIVE COEFFICIENT. let us use -4x^4+8x^3-20x as our example here. first factor with +4 then with -4.

4(-x^4+2x^3-5x) for the negative case it would be -4 giving you -4(x^4-2x^3+5x)

please best me. welcome
