The length of a rectangle is 6 times its width. The perimeter must be more than 110 feet. which inequality can be solved to find the width (x) ?

let the lenght be L,and width be x
since length is 6times its width, so L = 6x

now perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length+ Width) = 2(6x+x)= 2*7x =14x

since it mentioned perimeter must be more than 110 feet,
so the inequality equation is 14x > 110

on solving 14x>110
x> 110/14 or, x>55/7 (answer)
