Description
Why is Creon a brutal person?
Explanation & Answer
The character Creon in Jean Anouilh’s Antigone is an example of a tyrant ruler. The only thing that creon cares for is lust for money and power. He is a brutal person because he does not care about humanity but he is selfish of himself. He does not care about the other peoples feelings. This is revealed in Haemons marriage. To creon all women are the same and should be classified in the dame category. Creon is a brutal person because he does not show any remorse for family. To creon, the family comes before him. As a matter of fact, Creon thinks that the state should come first before any decision made by the family. Creon is a brutal person because nothing comes before him since he is a nationalist, an elitist, a dictator and a liberian.
