Tests & Measurements (psychology)

Question Description

I would like for you to pick a topic you are particularly interested in. what am interested in is wonderlic personality about the purpose, finding, origin, limitation and information did it provide.

For example, I have a particular interest in Antisocial Personality Disorder. For this topic, I may choose Robert Hare’s Psychopathy Checklist Revised (PCL-R). I will need to approve your topic and instrument before you begin your research.

You will need to include the following information in your paper/presentation:

I.  A general explanation of your topic of interest.

II.  The measurement process you have chosen along with a discussion of its purpose. (Scale, test, instrument, interview, etc.)

III.  Discussion on why you chose this measurement process over any other process for your topic of interest.

IV.  The psychometric properties of the measurement process. (Reliability, validity, utility, standardization processes if any.)

V.  A review of your measurement process which may come from a journal article, the MMY, TIP, or any other reference material.

VI.  At least 4 examples or uses of your measurement process in the literature. For the scale I have chosen, the PCL-R, I would provide various examples of research that have used the PCL-R. You would need to provide discussion on how it was used and the findings of the research.

This information will need to be written and submitted in an APA style paper.. Remember, you will need to cite any source you use in your research of the measurement process you chose. I’m expecting this will be at least 3 pages in length. You will need to thoroughly cover all of the requirements listed above. Remember, there are many forms of measurement.
