Angle BAD = Angle DAC (  AD is bisector of angle A

AE = ED

Angle DAE = Angle ADE ( angles opposite to equal sides)

Angle BAD = angle ADE

AB is parallel to DE  ( because of alternate angles BAD and ADE)

Hence Triangles CDE and CBA are similar

CE/AC = CD/CB

1-CE/AC= 1-CD/CB

(AC-CE)/AC= (CB-CD)/CB

AE/AC = BD/BC
