Description

Apply the reading we have done in class about semiotics and intertextuality, visual style, Marxism and ideology, and psychoanalysis and write a two-page analysis about one of the series we have viewed. Show that you can analyze media content using the concepts and terminology used in class and in the reading. Make sure to quote and cite from the reading. The Handmaid’s Tale. Regardless make sure to focus on one episode and interpret it, detailing its meanings and implications. Each chapter of your textbook finishes with a case study using one of the approaches. Use a case study as a template for your own paper. Do not argue that the series itself uses one of the analytical approaches; instead use one of the analytical approaches to interpret the series.

No less than two full pages. 12 pt font, one-inch margins. In Word or pdf format.
