Almost everyone overeats in different occasions and have second or third helpings in
parties but for others, excessive overeating feels out of control and they have constant urge of
consuming large amounts of foods all the time. This is a medical condition which is known as
Binge Eating Disorder, a serious eating disorder of frequently eating unusual large amounts of
foods without the urge to stop (Hilbert, 2019). My friend usually feels embarrassed about
overeating all the time and vows to stop, although, the attempts are futile. She explains that she is
unable to resist the urge to eat and continues binge eating just like what Monica Sales was
experiencing.
As she has displayed various symptoms of Binge Eating Disorder, she should expect
changes in her body size because of the large amounts of foods she has been consuming, feeling
ashamed, guilty and even depressed. With this condition, it is hard to restrict the diet and even
