Answer One
The entry of ChotuKool into the Indian market had many advantages that includes increased level
of life and increased in the company' shares and revenue. It is evident that the introduction of
ChotuKool, refrigerator had many benefits to the market and the company at large. The firm became
a success because of their innovativeness and collaboration with agencies such as postal office to
promoted their marketing.
The refrigerator increases the level of life as individuals could feed from wide varieties of meals
as they could easily cooks and keep food, fresh products without spoiling. Previously, before the
introduction of ChotuKool, most Indians could only prepare meals that were enough for a day since
they had no proper refrigeration facility and most likely the foods could go bad. Since ChotuKool is
cost effective, one can easily use it for storage and benefit by being able to take any kind of food
they want.
Introduction of the refrigerator into the Indian market enabled the Godrej's team to receive more
income and shares in the market. Since the refrigerator was economical and efficient, many found it
affordable to purchase and maintain increasing its market. Many individuals in town and offices

bought the machine to help them maintain the freshness of food for a long time. The company
expand as they continue making profits.
However, the introduction of ChotuKool into the Indian market had a disadvantage that comprise
of the risk of the commodity not reaching the target market. Initially, the company was intending to
produce a cheap refrigerator that could serve the rural Indian market but the business did not achieve
the goal. The final product, however it was cheap as compared to the other refrigerators in the
market, it was still expensive for most Indians in rural areas. Therefore, many could not afford it
making it difficult for the firm to achieve its goals.
