Impact of Music in the Society
Music is an essential tool in the way individuals learn hence anyone who denies the power
of music is literally wasting a truly wonderful and amazing resource. Some people view music
just as a small element in the prosperity of humanity but in reality it, in fact, the greatest force
that defines and decides how the community behaves, thinks and operate in general. It can be said
that music is indeed is an essential driving force to humanity since it has been in existence since
time immemorial and the dawn of man (Bruner 56).
Research has shown that every average person would spend a large portion of the day
listening to music. Usually, one would listen to music either as the main activity or a background
activity to help do the main task in a relaxed atmosphere. Anything that is done by a human being
for a long time every day will indeed affect how such a person would think or act. In fact, music
contributes a large part to intelligence of humans. This indeed confirms the unquestionable
impact that music has on an individual and the society in large (Bruner 80). This essay discusses
in length how music has an impact on the way the society acts and how people associate with
themselves.
Firstly musicians who are the main source of music are carriers of great influence in the
