Pocatello, Idaho --- Idaho State University announced today that Karen Hartman will serve as the university's new Athletic Director effective June 1, 2021. Hartman will take over for John Smith who announced his retirement earlier this year. 

Your title should include an action verb and "announce" that something is happening. The lead should be 25-40 words and should be 1-2 sentences max.
