Accordingly, it is important to state how they will be restored to competency.

Competency Restoration – Outline
Thesis Statement: The thesis of this paper is that individuals must have the mental capacity to
understand the charges leveled against them in court. In the same vein, they must be able to
defend themselves. Competency Restoration is therefore discussed as a means of facilitating this.
