Option 2 – FlashFood Inc.
FlashFood Inc. is a company that allows customers to order food from local restaurants and
delivers it to the customer’s door. The company has prided itself on having short wait times
from the time customers order to when the food arrives. Their app also allows customers to
track their order from the very beginning, so they can see if the food is cooking, ready to be
picked up, on the way with a driver, or delivered. However, recently wait times have exceeded
over an hour and customer complaints have risen exponentially with service usage dropping.
Feedback to FlashFood Distribution Managers from customer complaints has included
information on drivers getting lost when navigating to a house, food sitting too long at the
restaurant waiting to be picked up, and wrong orders being delivered. If the trend continues,
FlashFood Inc. will lose another large percentage of revenue in the next quarter.
