Explore responses, looking for patterns of particular social identities/categories that feel more or less comfortable around and discuss the role socialization played/plays in shaping friend groups and biases. Then conclude by discussing how might re-socialize to address any areas of bias identified.
Think about who your closest friends and colleagues are-those people that you feel most comfortable around. Which social identities/categories (e.g. race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, nationality, ability, socio-economic status...) are present? Which social identities/categories are not present?
Now think about who you feel least comfortable around. Those who you feel uncomfortable around can often give an indication of who you may hold negative implicit biases about.
