- Objective analysis - Should be in paragraph form and should consist of four parts: (1) Purpose of the study (basic reason the study was proposed), (2) Methods (number and types of experiments involved, number of subjects involved with experiments, where was research accomplished, procedure used during experiment), (3) Results (summary of all statistical data that was made available), and (4) Conclusions (what conclusions did the author gather from the results). ( 250 words minimum)
- Subjective analysis- Should be in paragraph form and should answer the following questions: Why did you choose this article? Do you feel the findings are valid and/or reliable? Why/why not? Did the author use logical rationalism or empirical verification to come to his/her conclusion? Was the conclusion based upon the facts (results) presented in the article? (100 words minimum)
- Personal interpretation - How do you personally feel about this article? Would you suggest it as good reading to another student taking this class? How do you feel the article might be improved? (100 words minimum)
