Personal Property Protection. Do you have homeowner’s or renter’s insurance? Is your personal property, such as furniture and computer, covered under a homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy? If not, why not? If so, what are the policy limits?

I have homeowner's insurance on my property.  My personal possessions are covered with a limit of $250,000.  This is a standard limit under homeowner's insurance to cover loss of personal possessions.  I feel it is important to have this coverage because replacing all personal possessions in the event of a fire or natural disaster would be an unreasonable cost burden without coverage.  When I had renter's insurance, my personal possessions were covered up to a limit of $100,000.
