Solve the quadratic equation using factoring:  14x2 + 3x = 2

Factoring [decomposition], we obtain: 

14x² - 4x + 7x - 2 = 0 
2x(7x - 2) + 1(7x - 2) = 0 
(7x - 2)(2x + 1) = 0 

Finally, by zero-product property: 

7x - 2 = 0 and 2x + 1 = 0 
7x = 2 and 2x = -1 
x = {2/7, -½}
