Hinduism is religion made up of Indian traditions and cultures with different origins.
Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world. It has no governing body, no top-ranking
leaders, no holy book, no prophets, and no definite origin or founder. Often the religion is
referred to as a religion of freedom because he followers can decide to be humanists,
polytheistic, monotheistic, pantheistic, agnostic or even atheistic. (Kitagawa, Joseph Mitsuo)
There are four primary goals of life according to Hinduism which are one's duties (Dharma),
freedom (Moksha), consequences(karma), desires and passions(kama), the cycle of rebirth
(samsara) and yoga. Hindus believe in various practices like meditation, annual festivals,
recitations and family rites. The end of suffering is when one reaches enlightenment by
following the path of good deeds.
On the other hand, Buddhism is a religion that is based on different traditions founded by
Buddha who as a prince. It is the fourth largest religion in the world. The practice of Buddhism is
based on the study of scriptures, renunciation of worldly desires, meditation, search and
maintaining wisdom, love, c...
