Introduction
Holism is a concept that seeks to assess the human mind and health outcomes from multiple
lenses working as a unit. It contrasts with reductionism that attempts to break things into smaller
components and then assessing wellness in relation to parts. At the basic level, holism requires
viewing human health as a unit by going beyond looking at individual components of health in
isolation (Perera & Moe, 2020). Various determinants of health interact to bring out an individual’s
wellness. In this assessment, wellness was assessed from a multiplicity of factors such as
spiritualism, self-awareness and responsibility, risk prevention, and self-regard among other
factors. By assessing the interactive influence of these factors on my wellness, it becomes possible
to understand health as a holistic process and outcome.

My FMJH assessment results showed significant changes in certain dimensions of health.
