a surf shop  makes profits of $150 for each surfboard and $100 for each wakeboard. the owner sells at least 3 surfboards and at least 6 wakeboards per month. the shop owner wants to earn at least $2000 per month. graph all possible combinations of ..

Let x = number of surfboards sold per month

Let y = number of wakeboards sold per month

Profit = 150x + 100y

If the shop owner wants to earn at least $2000 per month, then

150x + 100y >/= 2000

100y >/= 2000 - 150x

y >/= 20 - 1.5x

We also know that x >/= 3  and y >/= 6

So we can graph the 3 inequalities. Where the regions all intersect represent all possible combinations of x and y which are the number of surfboards and wakeboards he must sell to earn at least $2000.
