Part One
➢ When people encounter intricacies within the workplace setting, a toxic working
environment emanates. Such disruptions can cause an individual to espouse poor physical
and mental well-being. Similarly, when personal battles impede an individual’s
productivity, workplace toxicity may arise.
➢ After college, I was immediately lucky to get employment in a local firm that dealt in
garment manufacturing. I was excited because it was my first engagement and was
looking forward to working diligently and makes my parents and boss happy. The initial
working days were excellent because I considered myself one among many workingclass individuals.
➢ I started looking forward to Sundays when I had my day off to rest and do some catching
up with my peers, which I seldom did due to the laundry and general cleaning I had to
accomplish on this day.
➢ The most demoralizing part of my work engagements was the workload that I had to
accomplish each day and the intricacy of working with my immediate boss. My manager
made working an unbearable endeavor for me in various ways. Working under this
individual was a bad experience since he was always in a terrible mood.

➢ Mostly, these decisions resulted in unethical behavior, ruined character, and lost
businesses. I remember when one departmental head recruited his family members to fill
certain vacancies in his department without following due process.
➢ Similarly, this manager favored this individual over other workers. This behavior resulted
in diminished morale in his department and a massive turnover because some individuals
felt neglected and overlooked. Most workers felt that their manager favored his r...
