Description
Taylor paints a bleak, but seemingly accurate, portrait of life; but does he provide an adequate answer to the problem? Is life meaningless? Does God provide meaning in life? Do we need God in order to have a meaningful life (objective meaning), or is Taylor correct that all that is needed is subjective meaning? Or is life essentially meaningless?
Do not respond based on your own personal religious experience. The question is not whether God provides meaning for you, which could be a subjective meaning; but, whether a belief in God is necessary for anyone to have a meaningful life. Do non-believers necessarily lead a meaningless life?
