In any assessment process or procedure, an essential step is choosing an evaluation
method. In program evaluation for instance, if asked to choose between the quantitative and
qualitative methods one should choose the most effective and beneficial approach. Quantitative
methods prove to be more advantageous compared to the qualitative approach. In program
evaluation, the quantitative methods have both advantages and limitations to using it.
Quantitative methods are more standardized as opposed to qualitative approaches. This
feature makes them more effective in comparing research findings derived from similar studies.
