Give an example of an ethical or legal issue that may arise if a patient has a poor outcome or sentinel event because an alarm was turned off. What do the data show about the value of alarms in general? Is alarm fatigue an issue?

alarms can cause a different response on any human being depending mainly on state of mind, in a calm and quiet environment an alarm can cause mass confusion and shock to the respondents on different degrees such that others might die in a fire due to shock immobility syndrome, legal issues on alarms can only be viable over the pitch of the alarm or the distance of the alarm from the site of alarm... alarm fatigue is almost classified with phobia, different people respond differently to different situations unless a mind dissorder is in the picture or a medical factor about that individual is identified
