Introduction
Human rights are being violated daily despite it coming as a necessity. For instance, the
guest speaker, Dr. Salah, mentioned that minorities are being discriminated against in the United
States. He further gives an example of the late George Floyd incident, which caused a lot of riots
in the United States calling for equality and civil rights. Human rights include political and civil
rights such as freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press, and freedom of
political identification (Quintavalla & Heine, 2019). Hence, people are not supposed to be
arrested unless they have violated the laws governing human rights. Besides, there is a need for
people to understand the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as the two Covenant on
Civil and political, economic, social, and cultural rights. This being the case, this paper will
discuss the issue of International Human Rights.
Human rights are fundamental rights that are necessary to all people simply due to the
fact that we are human. They represent essential values in the community such as dignity,
fairness, respect as well as equality. Moreover, they are a significant protection approach to
