Introduction
Media bias is the bias that is shown by journalist and other people in mass media where
they are able to report on any news in a manner that is not entirely fair and legal. Media bias
happens when the mass media wants to pass on a particular message that cannot be considered to
be entirely or independently free. As such, media bias is a vice that has affected the different
people and countries all over the world. From the different analysis that has been done in the
past, it has been proven that majority of mass media is negative and this way, they are most
likely to affect the society in a negative manner.
Types of media
There are several types of bias that are found among different people and the different
news Medias. The first of this is corporate bias. This is a type of bias where the different stories
are twisted in an effort to ensure that they fit the different corporate heads that lead the news.
This is a factor that results in the news not being completely true and often times; they are simply
made in an effort to show the corporate in a suitable manner or in a way they find to be most
suited for them (Groseclose, 2011).
