Description
4) By Friday, April the 9th, you will give feedback to your partner. You will write a one-page single-spaced response (500 words) to their work and you will pick your 15 favorite images. Think about the following aspects:
- What compositional choices did your partner make? Do you identify some of the composition rules we learned about?
- How does he/she/they use color? Do you identify some of the contrast strategies we explored in class (contrast of hue, etc.)?
- Are the images technically well executed? Are the images well exposed? Is the WB correct?
- What are the strengths and weaknesses of the work?
- What suggestions do you have to make their work stronger?
- Why did you pick the 15 images out of the pool?
- You are welcome to make general observations, but please also comment on specific images, not necessarily on all of them but at least on 4-5. Be specific in your language and stay away from evaluating the images just based on your personal taste: rather than saying "I like," you can say why you think a photograph is successful).
