Sleep is one of the moments I look forward to after a long tiring day. While sleep helps in
refreshing the mind, individual human beings experience dreams during such cycles, and while
some may be vividly memorable, other dreams are not. For the past few days, I have tried to
keep my sleep and dream journal. As instructed, I tried to remember the previous night's dreams
for close to four days. Even though I earnestly tried, I could not recall what I dreamt. Therefore, I
will solely talk about my sleep patterns/routine in this paper and highlight the importance of
dreams and sleep in the end. Sleep is one of the necessary processes that help in the human
brain's functionality, and thus, everyone must establish better sleeping patterns for better
outcomes.

For quite a long time, I have not had relatively stable sleeping patterns. Usually, I sleep
from around a quarter to eleven at night and wake up at around five o'clock in the morning to
begin my day, totaling up an average of seven hours every night. Before going to bed, I always
