Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD)
Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) is one of the most recognized
approaches to sustainable community-driven development. Besides mobilizing a community, the
approach seeks to integrate micro-assets into the macro environment (Nurture Development,
n.d.). ABCD is founded on the premise that if unidentified assets are recognized and mobilized
to drive development in a community, success is likely. Therefore, the approach can help to
